Sandra Simonds is a poet and critic. She is the author of eight books of poetry: Triptychs (Wave Books, 2022), Atopia (Wesleyan University Press, 2019), Orlando (Wave Books, 2018) and others. She is also the author of Assia, a forthcoming novel based on the life of Assia Wevill. She lives in Tallahassee, Florida, and is an associate professor of English at Thomas University in Thomasville, Georgia. She is currently a visiting professor at Bennington College in Vermont.
Harmony Holiday is a writer, dancer, archivist, and the author of 5 collections of poetry including Hollywood Forever and Maafa. She curates an archive of griot poetics and a related performance series at LA’s MOCA and the music and archive venue 2220 Arts+Archives that she runs with several friends, also in Los Angeles. She has received the Motherwell Prize from Fence Books, a Ruth Lilly Fellowship, a NYFA fellowship, a Schomburg Fellowship, a California Book Award, and a research fellowship from Harvard.
Rodrigo Toscano is a poet and dialogist based in New Orleans. He is the author of ten books of poetry. His latest book is The Charm & The Dread (Fence Books, 2022). The Cut Point (Counterpath) is due in spring 2023. His Collapsible Poetics Theater was a National Poetry Series selection. His poetry has appeared in over 20 anthologies, including Best American Poetry and Best American Experimental Poetry (BAX). Toscano has received a New York State Fellowship in Poetry.
