The Poetic Research Bureau presents a reading and book launch for Ivanna Baranova’s Threshold, published by Inpatient Press. With poetry and music by Kayla Ephros and Étiene.

Lush with noumena, the poems of Threshold reside between the colloquial and the cosmic, divinity and dailiness, and chime with ethereal devotion. Infusing cybernetics with ecology and semiotics, Threshold thrums with Baranova's bioluminescent inquiry.

Ivanna Baranova is a poet and artist from the Pacific Northwest, currently living in Los Angeles and sometimes New York City. She is the author of Threshold (Inpatient Press, 2024), Continuum (Metatron Press, 2023), and Confirmation Bias (Metatron Press, 2019). Her work has appeared in April April, Cixous72, Los Angeles Review of Books, Newest York, and elsewhere.

Kayla Ephros is an artist, poet, and educator living in Los Angeles. Her books include b-sides: loose translations (nueoi press) and Maple Shade.
